There is something about a beautiful winter day to just raise my spirits.  

Sure, the fears of driving, having enough food, and what-ifs are always going to weasel their way into my mind. But as soon as I’m home and settled in, watching the snow fall is the highlight of my season. 

For me, it feels like a reminder that we should spend time with our families or maybe a way to trap us in one place to work on something we’ve been avoiding. I have been avoiding a few projects, laundry, putting my tree away, more housework, and...well you don’t care about my to-do list. 

I’m so thankful for days like this. Some of my favorite memories are snowdays with my friends and family.
